Wednesday, May 16th, 2012 Auto PropertyOn Tuesday morning, after a night of heavy rain, Martha Parent was looking at flood damage and waiting on an insurance adjuster. Parent owns the Northwest Shopping Center off the 3700 block of Reynolda Road in northern Winston-Salem. In the shopping center are eight businesses — shops that sell scooters and electronics, among other products and services, including haircuts. Several shops were flooded. "In the six years I’ve owned this place, I’ve never seen anything like this," Parent said.
