St. Petersburg Fire & Rescue crews rescued a man who got both feet trapped inside a forklift and was injured. Authorities said crews arrived at 1801 28th Street North about 12:45 p.m. and found that the man, subcontracted by Northeast Marine to work on their forklift, was trapped between the forks and a stabilizer bar called a stage. The man had propped wood under the forks to hold them up. While standing on top of a stage. the wood snapped, causing the folks to crash down and pin the mans feet between two of the three stages.
