Add Chrysler to the list of automakers issuing recalls. On Wednesday, Chrysler announced it is recalling nearly 870,000 SUVs because corrosion might make the cars’ brakes harder to use. The vehicles being recalled are Jeep Grand Cherokee and Dodge Durango SUVs from the 2011 through the 2014 model years. The company says crimp joints in the boosters of the brakes can corrode if exposed to water. And if the water freezes, the boosters won’t help in the braking.
