Hundreds of hardworking New Mexicans have found themselves helpless after their vehicles were stolen. Finally, police have found a clue that provides a sigh of relief for more than a dozen auto theft victims. Far removed from city life, dismantled cars are lined up on a hidden, private property on Michaels Road in Estancia. Out of the 300 vehicles detectives found at the residence, mismatching VIN numbers led officers to believe at least 15 of them are stolen. Another 20 cars could be too.
