Nearly two dozen people were forced to evacuate their homes Wednesday because of a large tank battery fire. Crews at the scene said the blaze started after a lightning strike about 9:30 p.m. Wednesday at 800 N. Bryant Ave. Officers evacuated 23 people within a half-mile area of the fire. "I just can’t even imagine how many stories high it was," said James Guyton, who was evacuated from his home. "Fire and black smoke filled the air."
