Three St. Francisville residents have been arrested on insurance fraud charges for allegedly filing false claims for injuries they claimed to suffer in a car accident. Police said a car belonging to 31-year-old Honabea Cavalier wasn’t occupied when it was struck by another vehicle in a parking lot, but she filed injury claims with an insurance company for herself and her five children. The insurer paid her $500 to cover the injuries she claimed her children sustained.
