6 Cars Crushed By Fallen Tree In San Diego
Wednesday, February 6th, 2019 AutoSix cars were crushed by a large tree in Balboa Park as a result of Saturday’s powerful storm, said officials. High winds paired with heavy rain made for dangerous conditions across San Diego County. Crews with the City of San Diego worked through the afternoon and the night to remove the large eucalyptus tree. Cleanup efforts continued Sunday. Hung Cao, the owner of one of the crushed cars was hopeful his car was not damaged. "I saw the tree from afar and I thought it missed my car," said Cao. "This is actually my wife’s car and she is out of town so she won’t be happy." allowed to retrieve their things.
