After storm’s hail, wind, the claims roll in

Insurance companies in South Carolina are estimating Sunday’s string of violent thunderstorms have caused an estimated $5 million in damage thus far. The S.C. Insurance News Service said insurance companies had reported 2,027 claims had been filed as of Wednesday afternoon, including 1,516 auto claims and 511 home/business claims.
