Allstate sues company in fire
Tuesday, August 21st, 2007 Property SubrogationAllstate Insurance Co. has sued the maker of a defective refrigerator to recoup what the company paid a Livingston Parish client whose trailer was lost to fire a year ago, court records show. Filed July 20 in the 21st Judicial District Court, the insurer’s suit alleges the trailer of Allstate’s customer, Chris K. Rushing, burned July 25, 2006, in Walker. The fire caused $20,726 in damage, which Allstate paid, the suit said.
