An early morning fire on Sunday (Dec. 14) leaves a family of five without a home. "It was about 2:30 that I woke up from the dogs barking, and I ran outside cause my daughter said, ‘I think the neighbor’s house is on fire’, and I ran over there, and I didn`t see their vehicles, so I knew they [weren’t] home," Shawnell Ray, neighbor said. Officials said the family was not home at the time of the fire. A neighbor on Tiffany Drive called 911. "Once we got there the house was totally involved with flames roof was already falling in, but no one was home so that was a good factor about it," Fire Chief Steve Helms said.
