Atlanta Firefighters Injured Battling 2-Alarm Blaze

Firefighters rushed to the scene of an apartment complex fire Tuesday in Buckhead.The fire happened at the Victoria Apartment Homes on Roswell road just before noon. Multiple fire crews were called to the scene to battle the flames.
Officials say firefighter Spurgeon Putnam fell 20 feet while battling the fire on the roof. He was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. Josh Martinson received minor burns to his shoulders. Both men are from Station 21 and are in stable condition at Grady Hospital. Martinson is expected to be released sometime Thursday afternoon.
