A lawsuit filed Wednesday in Connecticut Federal Court by a group of auto-body repair shops accuses Progressive Corp. (PGR) of illegally steering customers to its concierge service centers and other partner repair shops. It also alleges the auto-insurance giant illegally suppressed labor rates paid to auto-body repair shops in the state. The suit seeks to have all the approximately 750 auto-body repairers in Connecticut named in a proposed class action.
