Bats evicted from infested home

Wednesday, August 10th, 2011 Property

At Derek and Stephanie Kohler’s house in Sand Lake it is eviction day. Not for the family, but for the 100 or more bats living in their home. Jason Sutton from Creature Control is tightening the gaps in the siding and the gable vent. He will then install two exit points. The bats can fly out, but they won’t be able to get back in. "It’s a huge relief for one thing," says Stephanie Kohler. She can’t wait for it to be done. "And knowing that they’re not in our attic, fluttering, and I can’t hear them soon, knowing that will happen is awesome."
