Battering Ram Used In San Francisco Camera Store Burglary

Four thieves were sought by police after being caught on camera using a white van with an apparent battering ram attached to it pull off a smash-and-grab burglary early Tuesday at a camera store in San Francisco’s Fisherman’s Wharf. Surveillance footage of the incident showed their thieves attaching a long pole to the rear of a white van before backing the vehicle up and smashing through the windows of the store on the 2800 block of Leavenworth Street just before 3 a.m., San Francisco police officials said.
