Beverly, Mass. fire appears suspicious
Monday, July 14th, 2014 PropertyFire officials tell FOX 25 a wind-whipped fire that destroyed a house under construction in Beverly appears to be suspicious. Fire Chief Paul Cotter told FOX 25’s Catherine Parrotta they’re calling the fire suspicious because the home where it began was vacant. They’re looking into all possibilities as they search for a cause.
The fire broke out at about 9:30 p.m. Sunday and was under control by 11 p.m. Flames spread to several adjacent homes. No one was injured.
