A Lexington man is happy to be alive after cement beams fell off a truck and slammed into his SUV. Vinod George’s Honda Pilot was demolished, but he calls himself a lucky man. Lucky because he lives to tell the incredible story of a close call. "I was just thankful, I was thanking God," George said. He was on his way to work and turned onto Trapelo Road in Waltham."I knew what was going to happen because it was coming right at me," he said. Several cement beams accidentally slid off of a truck and smashed into his SUV.
