Thursday, June 24th, 2004 Property

Waupun in Dodge County, about 60 miles northwest of Milwaukee, was among the areas hardest hit by the storms that erupted Wednesday evening and hit a widespread area of the state. (Related map: Thunderstorm outlook) "There is not a single road that does not have huge trees in it," Debby Sisson said after driving through Waupun to her mother‘s home just after the storm. "People are picking up things out of their yard that they have no idea who they belong to. ... "There are wires down everywhere, there are several houses that have major damage, she said. "It‘s a major mess, very, very bad."
