Monday, August 27th, 2012 — A man who parked his SUV at the Cathedral Park boat ramp in north Portland likely wont forget to use the emergency brake again. Multnomah County deputies said the mans SUV rolled into the Willamette River at about 5 a.m. Thursday. After parking the SUV, he realized he forgot to set the e-brake, but it was too late as the SUV drifted into the river. The sheriffs office dive team and river patrol deputies responded and confirmed there was no one inside the SUV.
