Lubbock Fire Rescue says a stack of lumber fell and killed an employee at Lowe’s Home Improvement on Friday morning. The employee has been identified as a 23-year-old male but his name has not been released as of Friday night. Heavy rescue equipment was called to the scene at 11:20 a.m. Lowe’s corporate office sent this statement on Friday afternoon: We are saddened by the loss of a member of our Lowe’s family in an accident at the Lowe’s of Lubbock, Texas, today, and our thoughts are with all those affected.
