An eroding dike prompted a mandatory evacuation of a south Fargo neighborhood and engineers believe they can fix it, according to an official with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. The mandatory evacuation was issued at 2:09 this morning for residents living east of Fourth Street South between South River Road and Lindenwood Drive, an area southeast of the city’s water plant.
