Explosion Levels Texas Home, Damages Nine Others

Two people have been airlifted to an area hospital and three others treated for minor injuries when a North Texas home exploded and caught fire Monday morning, damaging nine other nearby properties and prompting evacuations. Police in Waxahachie said a home on the 100 block of Arabian Road caught fire at about 8 a.m. following an explosion at the home, the cause of which has not yet been confirmed. CareFlite officials said they transported two adults by air ambulance to Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas.
