Family Miraculously Survives Home Explosion

Bill Chapman looked on in shock at what’s left of the home he’s been to so many times. His son and grandkids were whisked away after their house exploded. "I had no idea until I got out here and seen the mess here that it’s bad," Chapman said. Just after 3 p.m., police got the call that this home had exploded, scattering four kids and a dad across the lawn. Michigan State Police said when crews arrived on Diener Road in Saginaw County’s Richland Township, they found one adult, and five children at the scene.
