Snow and ice from Monday’s winter storm were a factor in about 2,000 auto accidents across South Carolina, according to the state Highway Patrol. "Icy conditions also may pose a threat to homes and businesses," said Russ Dubisky, executive director of the S.C. Insurance News Service.
