Bridgeport authorities are trying to determine the cause of a large fire that heavily damaged five businesses and displaced more than a dozen people from their homes in the city’s Black Rock section. The Connecticut Post reports that the fire that began late Saturday morning appeared to begin in Marty’s Brick Pizza and More restaurant on Fairfield Avenue and spread rapidly to the other businesses. No injuries were reported.
