Monday, December 14th, 2015 Property

A two-alarm fire has consumed a West Side warehouse, sending flames that were visible for miles early Monday, and causing two nearby schools to cancel classes. Firefighters were called to the warehouse at 2662 Fisher Rd. near Hague Avenue shortly after 3:45 a.m. Within ten minutes, a second alarm was called. At least one wall and the roof of the warehouse partially collapsed in the blaze, according to emergency radio communications. Firefighters have assumed a defensive stance against the blaze, working to keep the fire from spreading to other buildings in the area.
