Former Deputy Faces Sentencing For False Burglary Claim

A former longtime deputy and K-9 trainer for the Bannock County Sheriff’s Office, Clint Brown, will be sentenced Monday in the Bannock County Courthouse after pleading guilty to insurance fraud. The case was prosecuted by the Idaho Attorney General’s office. Brown faces up to 15 years in prison and a fine of up to $15,000. Scott Graf, public information officer for the Idaho A.G., said the state attorney general’s office would not release any details of its investigation until after the court passes sentence on Brown.
