A Yonkers man, who stole $297,000 in checks from his employer by submitting 26 claims for false insurance claims settlement payments, was sentenced Thursday to one to three years in state prison. Robert Wirchansky, 50, pled guilty to all four counts - one count of grand larceny in the second degree and three counts of forgery in the second degree, all felonies.
