Neil D. Levin, 46, the executive director of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, who served as New York insurance superintendent before joining the Port Authority is among those still missing after the terrorist attacks on New York's World Trade Center.
The St. Louis Post Dispatch reported today that on the morning of the attack Mr. Levin advised a secretary that he was attending a breakfast meeting at the Windows on the World restaurant on the 106th floor of at 1 WTC. Mr. Levin was the husband of Christy Ferer, the author and former TV fashion reporter who grew up in St. Louis.
Frank Peter, a Port Authority representative, said that at this point no memorial service has been planned. The Post Dispatch had reported that a service would be held Monday.
