Freezing Temperatures Hamper Wisconsin Firefighters

Beaver Dam firefighters spent Sunday night battling a stubborn blaze at a storage building.Fire crews were called to the former Green Giant facility, 1322 N. Spring Street, after heavy smoke and fire were reported around 4:30 p.m. in the northwest corner of the building. Crews from ten other departments were called in to help fight the fire.
The building was being used for storage. The owner said several boats, cars, trailers and recreational vehicles were stored inside the building.
