Hellam Twp., PA. fire engine rolls over in crash
Monday, March 31st, 2014 AutoA Hellam Fire Co. fire engine rolled over Saturday evening while responding to a crash in Hellam Township. The six firefighters aboard the engine during the incident were not injured, said Hellam Fire Chief Eric Strittmatter. It is unclear what caused the fire engine to roll on its side while rounding a bend along Yorkana Road, he said. The Hellam Township Police Department is handling the investigation and has not determined the cause of the crash, Strittmatter said.
