An Oklahoma interstate is again open after a dust storm caused a dozen wrecks and 16 injuries. Wind gusts up to 60 mph and freshly plowed land led to visibility of less than 10 feet along parts of Interstate 35 in Kay County. Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers told KOCO that the dust storm caused a dozen wrecks involving 27 vehicles, leading to 16 injuries. None of the injuries were major, said Blackwell Fire Chief Russell Brand. Nine people were transported to Blackwell medical facilities, and three were transported to Enid, he said.
