Ice storm makes people ‘sore all over’

Wanda Bailey’s sense of professional empathy was renewed the hard way on Monday. The rehabilitation nurse was among the many unfortunates who took nasty falls on ice-glazed streets in the St. Louis area. Bailey, of the city’s Central West End, spent part of the day on an emergency room gurney at Barnes-Jewish Hospital.
