Insurance claims adjusters were out in force following last week’s nor’easter that caused extensive property damage, uprooting trees and ripping off roofs. The damage to homes and businesses was so widespread that insurance companies called in claims adjusters from other states to handle the caseload. Companies including Allstate Insurance Co. and State Farm Insurance have placed newspaper ads with information on how policyholders should file a claim.
