Insurance industry associations are hoping to quell concerns stirred up they said by the media and politicians that indicated policies would be cancelled. According to the Association of California Insurance Companies, Personal Insurance Federation of California and American Insurance Association emphasized that a law is in place to address the issues of cancellation and nonrenewal.
