The sweet scent of barbecue was replaced with that of wet grass Sunday as Bisig Impact Group employees attempted to salvage what they could of the Blues, Brews & BBQ festival’s set-up. Overnight, strong winds damaged the festival’s stage, and rain caused chaos in the open field where attendees had gathered beneath the Louisville Water Tower on Friday and Saturday. Within hours of the third day’s events, organizers announced they couldn’t fix everything in time. They had to cancel Sunday’s shows. "It’s flooded and just a mess out there," said Matt Willinger, director of public relations for Bisig, which produces the festival.
