Police say a veteran Los Angeles Police Department detective has been arrested for workers’ compensation fraud. Thirty-seven-year-old John Vach Jr. surrendered to police and was booked on seven felony counts of workers’ compensation fraud, perjury and attempted grand theft. He was released after posting $120,000 bond.
