Laurel woman dies in storm
Monday, May 4th, 2009 Auto PropertyAt least one person died and thousands were in the dark after severe weather clawed central and southern Mississippi on Sunday. A 46-year-old woman died when a tree fell on her Victory Road property in Laurel. Kimberly Bellais was standing outside her home at the time of the accident around 11:56 a.m., Jones County Coroner Nancy Barnett said. Officials said the storm felled 40 trees in the county.
