Lemberger gets 10 years in fraud, arson
Wednesday, July 17th, 2013 Fraud PropertyA Denmark man was sentenced to 10 years in federal prison for an insurance fraud case. Matthew Lemberger was also ordered to pay $779,408.79 in restitution by Green Bay federal judge William Griesbach during a hearing Monday, according to online court records. According to the complaint, in 2010, Lemberger and two others intentionally set fire to Lemberger’s business -- Cronos Global -- to collect insurance money. Documents also show Lemberger offered to kill the spouse of one of the co-conspirators instead of paying that person but that count was dropped.
