Lightning struck a preschool in southeast Indiana on Monday morning, causing damage but no injuries. Greendale police said lightning struck the Little Red School House at 10 a.m. The lightning hit the schoolÂ’s cupola, which was damaged. "It gets your heart rate up a little when you hear a day care struck by lightning," said Shannon Craig, chief of the Greendale fire department. The blast damaged one of the schoolÂ’s pipes, causing water to come through a light fixture in one of the rooms. The water caused the roof to collapse.
