An alcohol-fueled fire that gutted a large liquor store Wednesday may have been sparked in electrical wires, the fire chief said. "Theres no reason to suspect arson," Chief David Billings said of the blaze at M&R Liquors, 120 Tolland Turnpike. Reported by passing motorists at about 4 a.m., the roaring fire destroyed the 10,000-square-foot building. At dawn, only three walls were left standing. No one was hurt. Co-owner Gary Rounseville said he plans to rebuild. By afternoon, an excavator was moving charred debris for investigators, who included a town fire inspector, police detectives and representatives from the state police fire and explosion investigation unit.
