Man Accused Of Faking Worker’s Comp Claims To Get Drugs

A West Fargo man is wanted on fraud charges after prosecutors allege he filed fake workers’ compensation claims against the state’s Workforce Safety and Insurance agency. Court documents filed Wednesday with the charges in Cass County District Court allege James Wesley Johnson, 45, filed the first of nine false workers’ compensation claims for injuries to his lower back, right shoulder and left leg in December 2013.
