Man Crushed To Death By Construction Crane In West Hollywood

A worker was crushed to death Tuesday afternoon in an accident involving a crane at a construction site in West Hollywood, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. The incident was reported shortly after 4 p.m. near the intersection of Sunset and La Cienega boulevards, a supervisor with the Los Angeles County Fire Department said. In what sheriff’s Lt. Vance Duffy described as an “industrial accident,” the worker was crushed between the crane and possibly a trailer.
