Massive blaze damages multimillion-dollar home

Investigators are trying to figure out what caused a fire that heavily damaged a multimillion-dollar home in Bourne overnight. The fire broke out just before midnight Wednesday on Beverly Road. At one point, firefighters were worried the flames would spread to another building on the property, but it was contained.
No injuries were reported. According to town assessor’s records, the home is valued at $2.3 million.
The state fire marshal’s office is investigating the blaze.
