Winter weather has caused officials reduce speeds on the states two biggest toll roads and several bridges as the weather is being blamed for a rash of accidents. A State of Emergency was declared to allow emergency officials to better coordinate resources, but it does not ban travel, said Lt. Stephen Jones, a State Police spokesman. However he advised drivers to use caution before traveling. "We’re advising people to stay off the road especially in the northern part of the state," he said.
