Tennessee Gov.-elect Bill Haslam has named longtime insurance attorney and regulator Julie Mix McPeak as commissioner of the Tennessee Department of Commerce and Insurance. Ms. McPeak, 41, currently is an attorney in the Nashville, Tenn., office of Burr & Forman L.L.P. Previously, she was executive director of the Kentucky Office of Insurance, where she also served as general counsel.
