The National Weather Service confirms that a tornado tossed cars and trucks like toys in a Beavercreek store parking lot Tuesday afternoon. Several cars were overturned at the Kmart at 4480 Indian Ripple Road. The Fitworks was evacuated after a possible gas leak. We also received a photo from an eyewitness that shows the Books & Co. sign off the side of a building at The Greene.Beavercreek Police Captain Eric Grile says two people in the parking lot received minor injuries. One was inside a pickup that was picked up from an adjacent Waffle House restaurant and tossed into the store parking lot.
