Oklahoma City Woman Charged with Workers’ Comp Fraud

Attorney General Scott Pruitt has filed fraud charges against a Midwest City woman for allegedly attempting to defraud her employer and the workers’ compensation system. Lana Carol Hebrink, 45, was charged with one count of workers’ compensation fraud for making false statements regarding her workers’ compensation claim. While at work at TM Dentistry, Hebrink claims to have fallen and injured her knees, legs and back. She sought medical treatment for the injury and made false statements regarding the level of injury to her leg with the intent to deceive the physician and defraud her employer and CompSource Oklahoma, according to the charges.
