State Insurance Commissioner Steve Poizner issued an emergency declaration Monday to help expedite insurance claims from the freeze that has hit California’s agricultural industry. The Department of Insurance said the declaration will let out-of-state insurance adjusters be dispatched to California’s agricultural community to help settle claims.
