Person pulled from car in Niagara River

Rescuers pulled a person from a car found submerged in the Niagara River Sunday afternoon. City of Tonawanda Police have recovered a car with a person inside from the Niagara River. Around 12:40 p.m. Sunday afternoon, people walking in Isle View Park noticed something smooth and shiny at the surface of the water. One passerby called 911. Lt. Robert Clontz said, "The citizen observed a vehicle in the water, off the dock in Isle View. Police, firefighters, U.S. Coast Guard and Border Patrol all responded.
