Powerful storms cause damage across Montana

Powerful storms rocked parts of Montana on Thursday night, causing damage to crops, houses, and power lines in several communities, including Twin Bridges, Manhattan, Bozeman, Molt, Acton, and Billings. The Madison County Department of Emergency Services reports that the storm damaged many buildings in the Twin Bridges area, including several historic buildings on and near Main Street. An airport hangar was destroyed by strong winds and an Airstream trailer behind Frontier Realty was crushed by falling trees. In addition, an aluminum grandstand was flipped over and destroyed at the Madison County Fairgrounds.
